Submission requirements

  1. The image must show the true microstructure. Alteration that changes its original appearance is not permitted.
  2. Use the supplied submission format and convert the completed document to PDF.
  3. Use the highest-quality metallographic image available.
  4. The PDF must contain a title, a description of no more than 150 characters, and three keywords covering the material or sample, microscopy carried out, and instruments or tools used.
  5. Mention the microscopy category that best describes your entry: Optical images; SEM and EBSD images; TEM images; or 3D microscopy, including 3D APT, X-ray tomography and 3D SEM images.
  6. Accepted entries will be allowed on display. Participants should have their submitted micrograph printed in A4 or A3 size and paste it on the display board at the venue.

Privacy: The public gallery displays only the Registration ID and micrograph information. Names, emails and affiliations remain available only to organizers.
